I was thrilled to have a chance to review the Strider PREBike. When we first received the bike, my 5-year old daughter was still riding with training wheels and my 3-year old son was just learning how to use a bike. When kids first learn to ride on a bike with training wheels it is often scary for them as they are trying to balance (something they haven't learned yet) as well as pedal. The Strider bike teaches two important things that should be learned before learning how to pedal- balance and coordination.
The Strider bike came well packaged and was super simple to put together. My husband did it in no more than 5 minutes. The Strider bike is designed for children, ages 1 - 5 and features an adjustable seat and handlebars to accommodate your growing child. The bike is super light, under 7 lbs. This is a bike they can actually push around easy and it holds up to 50 lbs. It makes such a difference riding something they control rather than feeling like there are about to tip over at any minute.
We LOVE the Strider bike. My daughter would ride this every day! She was never hesitant like she was on bikes with training wheels where she always felt wobbly. This gives her control and I am happy to say she can now ride a pedal bike! My son is still getting used to riding around on the Strider Bike. He is still young but I am sure next summer he will be crusin around on this bike.
A short video of my daughter on the bike:
Another reason I love the Strider bike is actually because of the company. This is a great product because there is such an amazing company behind it. The Strider PREBike was invented by Ryan McFarland, a father of two boys. He saw a need for a bike like this and went for it. They stand 100% behind their bikes offering a 60-day money back guarantee and offer you to contact them if you ever have any questions. There aren't many companies like this.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a starter bike for their child. I wish I would have had it when my daughter was a little younger and I am very thankful to have it for both of my sons (yes, I am sure it will hold up that long!)

i love the pink bike with the clip on water bottles. I also learned that Bike riding becomes a breeze when you teach your child balance and coordination before pedaling. The Strider™ takes pedaling out of the mix so that kids can concentrate solely on learning balance, which takes more practice.

My favorite part of this bike is that there is no chains or training wheels or anything that could possible pose a risk to my tiny 3 year old... The fact that my 23 pound 3 year old is "big" enough for this is awesome!!! so i guess I have two fav things!!!

My favorite part is the obvious- it doesn't have the annoying training wheels! I remember I hated them so much when I was first trying to learn, they would always become lopsided, etc. Thank heaven for Strider!!

I really like the adjustable seat and the lightweight of this bike itself. I also love thefact that it teaches balance first. Love the blue one. I would love to win this for my 2 year old. He wants a bike right now because of the neighbor kids but is a bit wobbly on the bikes with training wheels.

I have a granddaughter that is just learning to walk. I also have one that is 3 and I bought her a bike. She has problems peddling it and it is very little. It's the peddling that has her boggled. I like that that the Strider bike is a training tool for the in between stages of a peddle bike.
