Planning For Disneyland

In November of 2010 we were able to take our family to Disneyland.  We talked about wanting to go back in 2 years and how it would be perfect timing to check out Cars Land.  I was not sure if we were going to be able to swing it because of money but it worked out and I am so happy that we are able to take a Disney vacation this November!

Our room and tickets were booked through Getawaytoday.com.  We were happy with the price and excited for the free gifts.  As much as I wanted to book a suite we decided to go with 2 queens at the Desert Palms Hotel.  Suites were at least $250 more and I just couldn't justify it right now when that would pay for a lot of food and/or gas.  Last time we went we were gone early and back just in time for bed anyways.....maybe next time!!  I really liked the look of the rooms and the hotel also offers a free FULL breakfast which I have heard great things about.

Tomorrow will be the 10-week countdown for us!!  I found a really neat idea for a countdown chain I want to make HERE.  I was thinking about making this a month before to help the kids get excited and understand how many days are left.  Maybe it is more for me though....it is SO FUN & I think I am more excited than the kids anyways!

We are still debating what vehicle we want to take.  We wanted to take the car for better gas mileage but we are thinking about taking the wagon to pull the boys and it won't fit in the car.  Decisions....Decisions.....
